During the event, I said that if a journalist possesses the art of publishing news while protecting the identity of sources, then even top-secret government files can be obtained sitting at home.
Importance of Social Media.
Speaking on the importance of social media, I said that since mainstream media—whether print or electronic—is often ignoring public-interest news due to the lure of advertisements, the importance of social media is continuously increasing.
I mentioned that when the news regarding the CBSE Class 10 Mathematics paper leak was published in “Gustakhi Maaf Haryana,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi took notice, and a case was registered in Delhi the very same day.
Presented the Book “Why and How Investigative Journalism” to K. G. Suresh
K. G. Suresh was surprised to hear that while reviewing this book, the Dainik Tribune newspaper had written that the practical and straightforward investigative journalism techniques taught in this book are not taught in any journalism university in the country.
Kak Sahib Appreciated the Cartoons in “Colorful Tales of Haryana’s Legends”
I presented my book “Colorful Tales of Haryana’s Legends,” based on Haryana’s politics and administration, to Kak Sahib. The cartoons in the book were created by Narendra Gehlot, now associated with Indiabulls. Kak Sahib appreciated the cartoons highly.
