Panchayat at Anangpur(Faridabad) in protest against demolition on Supreme Court’s order- Forty three years back IAS officer R.C.Rao has blown the whistle that unauthorized urbanisation is going on hillocks at Anangpur .R.C.Rao then Assistant Director Consolidation.Rohtak vide his letter No 2532 dated 8th November,82 to Tarsem Lal then Director Consolidation has warned “ Refer your confidential note about the mischievous transfer of shamlat Deh Lands in village Anangpur district Faridabad.It is true that Gair Mumkin Land /Pahar owned by Panchayat alongwith Shamlat Thoks is being sold by the shareholders of the Thoks according to their shares in the Thoks.The whole affair appears to be like a shady Land deal in the complicity of revenue/consolidation staff not ruled out .However,there is urgent necessity to have a closer look at the whole affair at the highest level so that the clandestine activities and unauthorized urbanisation of the hillocks is stopped. To wash our hands off these doubtful activities and to keep the clean image of the Department the consolidation work should be stopped in this village and the notification may be withdrawn”.
