Is Gurugram Police “incompetent” to investigate a case of fraudulently selling HUDA plots in the name of a deceased person? It sounds unbelievable, but the way one such almost three-year-old case regarding the fraudulent sale of a HUDA plot at Gurugram has now been transferred to the Haryana State Crime Branch proves it.

Our investigation has led to sensational disclosures, and it has all the ingredients of a potboiler Mumbai thriller, with the spices of greed for money and the twisting of rules and law to help powerful accused persons.

Sequence of events:
In May 2023, the complainant approached the Commissioner of Police, Gurugram, but no action was taken by the police even after four months. After that, the complainant approached the Court in August 2023. On the directions of the Court, an FIR was registered against the accused persons.

It was alleged that, considering the political clout of the accused, Gurugram Police acted very slowly, and the victim had to approach the Court. The Court, while issuing arrest warrants against the accused, namely Anoop Bishnoi and Roshni Bishnoi, asked the CP Gurugram to execute the arrest warrants. However, the police again gave enough time to the accused to obtain anticipatory bail, which too was rejected.

Now, the case has been transferred from Gurugram Police to the State Crime Branch under political pressure to benefit Anoop Bishnoi and Roshni Bishnoi, daughter of former Haryana Chief Minister Bhajan Lal and sister of BJP leader Kuldeep Bishnoi.
