Extracts from my upcoming book “ Inside Story of Haryana Police.”.When Dr John V.George, then IG ,Rohtak range saved I.A.S Anil Kumar and I.P.S ,A..S Chawala from registration of a false case .Haryanvi cops often hits media headlines for wrong reasons.But here is an incident of a dedicated and professional cop who saved senior offices from getting registration of false case of kidnapping of a teen aged girl against them.Dr. John.V George was at that time Inspector General of Rohtak Police range and P.K.Aggarwala retired DGP,Haryana was S.P.,Rohtak. Then chief minister Omparkash Chotala asked P.K.Aggarwala to register case against former Rohtak D.C,Anil Kumar,former Rohtak S.P.,A.S.Chawla and former Rohtak Sessions Judge Mr. Jindal on charges of conspiring to kidnap teen aged daughter of former Rohtak Additional Sessions Judge Mr.Kapoor..

All it happened that someone had teased the daughter of Kappor and he got suspicious that all the above mentioned three officers had role
in kidnapping.He reported the matter to Rohtak police which did not moved finding no substance in the compliant. After some time when
Omparkash Chotala took over as Chief ,Minister Kappor complained to him about inaction of Rohtak police. Chotala who was annoyed with Anil Kumar as he believed that Anil Kumar in his capacity as Returning officer from Rohtak Loksabha seat had declared his father Devilal
defeated to oblige Bhupinder Hooda so he asked P.K.Aggarwala to get the case registered.Now Aggarwala was facing very embarrassing position.

In meantime George came to know about the directions of Chotala and asked Aggarwala to brief Chotala about true facts of the case but
Aggarwala could not dare to do so. Then George himself went and convinced Chotala that there were no truth into the allegations.  George told Chotala that serving D.M.S.P and Sessions judge conspiring to kidnap teenage daughter of Additional Sessions judge will be international news and bring bad name to Haryana as this does not happens even in Bihar..
