By our enlightened reader Sunit Mukherjee. The fate of Vice Chancellor’s position in some State Universities of Haryana viz. MDU, Rohtak, CRSU, Jind, and GJUST, Hisar is to be finally decided by the Powers-that-Be of Haryana by the end of this month, or first fortnight of April 2026.

Reportedly, the Search Committee has completed the work related to MDU and submitted the panel to the State Govt. on March 25.

Soon, the Search Committee(s) for CRSU, Jind & GJUST, Hisar would be finalizing the panel.

The aspirants from the state, and outside the state, are looking for the magical carpet that would fly them to their destination. All parameters for landing up on the coveted position(s) are being tested and tried.

Campuses are abuzz with chai pe charcha on “Kaun Banega Kulguru!”

Reportedly, aashirvaad from Sangh Parivar is necessary for these positions. Apart from CM Nayab Singh Ji, the Ex-CM Manohar Lal Ji need to smile too on the Vice Chancellors-to-be.

Me, a nobody in this world where everybody is somebody, can only pray and wish that appointment of Vice Chancellor(s) is made, and not that of ‘Chancellor of Vices’!
