Hooda’s grip has loosened and he is no longer considered an aspirant for the top notch post in Haryana governance

The children of Rajiv Gandhi and his wife have become politically irrelevant in the context of Indian politics. Despite this, they continue to act as godfathers and godmothers to the spineless and corrupt elements within the Congress Party, which has significantly decayed over time.

Grassroots leaders of the Congress Party—those who once had a strong presence at the district level and among the masses—have been systematically sidelined. They now have little to no say in the organizational structure, particularly within the District Congress Committees.

Meanwhile, Bhupinder Singh Hooda’s grip on Haryana politics has considerably weakened. He is no longer seen as a serious aspirant for the top executive position in the state’s governance.

Haryana today needs a leader with a clear vision and strong administrative control. In this context, Nayab Singh Saini appears to be striving to assert firm command over the administration. The state requires a strict, decisive, and visionary political leader.

Unfortunately, this quality is visibly lacking among the younger generation of Congress leaders.
