Haryana Minister Shyam Singh Rana in deep trouble-One crore rs defamation notice served . Issue of calling advocate Sanjeev Takshak “Gunda” and asking him to get out from meeting of grievances committee.Takshak has alleged rampant illegal mining and overloading of vehicles in Charkhi Dadari under political patronage which annoyed the minister who was presiding over the meeting.Notice served by Parshant Kumar on behalf of Takshak says “ My client practice in District courts Charkhi Dadri as well as in Punjab and Haryana High
Court, Chandigarh and is also a social worker since long time.
My client is income tax payer. It is pertinent to mention here that my client is grandson of late Sh. Nihal Singh Takshak, who was the Member of Constitution Committee and also minister in PEPSU.
-2 That my client has done many social works and earned a huge reputation and having good will in the society and is a well known advocate in the District Charkhi Dadri.
-3 That my client many times used to address public issues like that illegal mining, overloading and corruption and on these complaints, previous CD Mandeep Kaur, Charkhi Dadri had prepared their report.,
regarding cancellation of some illegal mining and also in overloading issues, public supported my client and PA to DC Tomar was also apprehended taking bribe and Government of Haryana taking action in this matter and DC Tomar also transferred overnight from the District Charkhi Dadri.
-4 That there are many more social works lead by my client. My client has built or earned social goodwill and reputation in the society and my client is also an advocate which is engaged as a counsel in many hyped cases of the District &Sessions Court.
-5 That my client had moved an complaint to DC, Charkhi Dadri regarding illegal mining and overloading and the same was listed on Sr. No. 2 in grievance committee meeting held on 15-04-2025 at Charkhi Dadri, which was heard by you and Committee members.
During the hearing on the said complaint, you suddenly got anger upon my client without any sufficient cause &reason and you used harsh language against my client like that “Get Out” in loudly sound on mike and also use words like that “Goon” &”Insolent”. While my client was addressing the issue before the committee and the matter is related to public interest. You have defame the prestige of my client before many Advocates, Clients, Government Officers, General Public by using defamatory words against my client. It is specifically submitted that in the committee there were approximately 80 to 100 peoples were present and al the renowned media houses and some local youtubers were also present there and recording of the said incident has been posted on social media channels like that Dainik Bhaskar, Amar Ujala, Dainik Jagaran and some other local news channels and on some national newspapers “
