Supreme Court issued notice to Union of India and Central Pollution Control Board returnable on 23.03.2026 .RK Sharma retired IFS Haryana and Pawan Kumar Bansal Journalist and social worker have challenged the order of National Green Tribunal dated 1.07.24.
In above order NGT has dismissed our appeal.We have pleaded in National Green Tribunal against illegal encroachments ab raising of commercial building projects namely “Ambience Island Lagoon Apartments “upon notified Protected Forest of Sikandarpur-Nathupur Bundh and Nathupur drain by Raj Singh Gehlot owned Ambeince Devlopers and Infrastructure Pvt Ltd .Case against developer by Haryana government was going on in Environment Court Faridabad which was withdrawn by the government.
We have challenged it and prayed that above land be restored to Forest department Haryana .Aggrieved by the final order dated 11.07 .2024 of National Green Tribunal Principal Bench dismissing the writ Civil appeal was filed in Supreme Court against the judgement of NGT.On Tuesday Division bench of the Supreme Court consisting of Chief Justice Surya Kant and Justice Joymalya Bagchhi heard the case and issued notice to Union of Indian and Central Pollution Control Board returnable on 23.03.2026.The petitioners appeared in person.
