The general perception about Gurugram as merely a “city of concrete” is only a half-truth. The city is vibrant and lively as well. This is evident from a group of eminent citizens who organize musical evenings on weekends under the banner of the “Ragini Memorial Musical Group.” Senior citizens, along with their spouses, gather to enjoy soulful music that acts as a wonderful stress buster. Tea and snacks are also served during the program, adding warmth to the experience.
Today, I had the opportunity to attend one such musical evening, and it truly rejuvenated me. It not only relieved stress but also recharged my energy to continue raising my voice against the acts of omission and commission by the powerful and influential.
