Why check corruption—shoot the whistleblower?
This appears to be the policy of the Haryana Forest Department bosses. We had earlier carried a post titled “Mafia cutting Khair trees illegally in Panchkula’s protected Shivalik areas,” along with photographic evidence.

Now, instead of taking action against the illegal tree cutting, the department has suspended Vijay Kumar for making the video.
