Complaint against Alok Verma IFS officer and former Secretary NCERT.It says “The undersigned is directed to say that Central Vigilance Commission vide OM dated 5thJune 2012 has forwarded a complaint regarding irregularities in purchase of maplitho papers,cover paper and supply of manpower contracts etc at NCERT in 2011-12.The complaint was investigated and some charges levelled in complaint were subs tainted and a report was made to Central Vigilance Commission and the Commission advised to identify the officials responsible.In pursuance of the Commission‘advice ,NCERT has identified the role of Alok Verma IFS officer,former Secretary NCERT responsible for the irregularities and allegations have been framed against him .A statement indicating allegations against Alok Verma along with relevant documents is forwarded herewith.It is requested in view of above the version of Alok Verma on the allegations may be obtained and furnished the same along with BIo -data of Alok Verma to enable us to submit a proposal for the first stage advice of the Central Vigilance Commission.”No reply was given hence another letter was written that once again it was requested that version of Alok Verma on the allegations may be obtained and furnished the same along with Bio – data of Alok Verma to enable us to submit a proposal for the first stage advice of the Central Vigilance Commission.”This was followed by another letter “In this regard I intend to inform you that the case is being closely monitored by the Central Vigilance Commission.I shall be grateful if you could personally monitor the progress of the case and expedite the version of Alok Verma “.Highly placed sources told that a powerful politician from Haryana has ensured that issue is buried under the carpet “Tailpiece.I had copy of the correspondence in my possession which I got due to my credibility as an investigative journalist without using RTI.Am ready if govt intends to haul me under the Office Secret Act.
