Postcard days -eminent author and journalist Khushwant Singh used to reply on postcard and in his own handwriting.He had reviewed my book on politics ,Culture and governance of Haryana “Haryana Ke Lalon Ke Sabrang Kisse” written twenty seven years back.He wrote a letter to me dated 13 Feb 98” Dear Pawan,Though I read Hindi with great difficulty,I managed to go through your anecdotes about Lal’s of Haryana-all of whom I happened to have known.I enjoyed your with compilation .It was vastly amusing,Congratulations.Yours ,Khushwant Singh.”Letter is my prized possession.He advised me to write it in English so that English readers can also enjoy.
